How can I get to know more about the HUMMEL company and the training it offers?

There are lots of opportunities to get to know more about the company. For instance, each year we take part in the [job exchange] in Waldkirch. There, our trainees will be able to inform you about the company and the training. We are also present at fairs where you can learn about us at any time. We also offer the possibility of doing vocational work experience.

What should I do if I have applied to HUMMEL but have then decided on another company?

In this case, then please let us know straight away so that we can offer another candidate the opportunity of receiving training. It helps us all, if the other party is notified as soon as the situation is clear.

If after 2 weeks you have still not had a reply, you can assume that you are among the final candidates for a place. Please allow this period to pass first. After the 2 weeks, you can telephone us.

What happens after I have applied to HUMMEL for a training place?

After you have made an application to HUMMEL with the necessary documents, as a rule, at the latest within 2 weeks, you will receive confirmation that your application has been received.
If we cannot offer you a training place, also within 2 weeks at the most, you will receive an answer from us.
We take the decision regarding a training place at the latest 10 months before the start of training.
All applicants will have their application documents returned.

Each year we want to give young people the opportunity to train for their professional future. We have up to 30 trainees in the company.

Unfortunately we cannot give any guarantee, but we can say that we have always tried to give employment in the company later on to good trainees.
