Design of medical devices combines HUMMEL know-how in many areas. Almost 100% of all lathed and milled parts for precision mechanics, molded plastic parts for the casing, device-specific  control electronics, and software are produced at Hummel. In addition, the final devices, certified according to medical device directive 93/42/EEC, are installed and tested by HUMMEL.
