Serial production of the TEMP-STAR MASTER controllers has recently been started and the first units have already been shipped. The design has again been changed slightly before starting the production cycle, as we decided to fit the front panels of the control cards with foils in the area of the LED windows. This makes it very easy for users to interpret the operating state information displayed.
Apart from the ease of operation, initial users are particularly enthusiastic about the on-screen help function. Upon operating the HELP button, the user is immediately offered all relevant operating data in a straightforward and concise form. This eliminates the need for printed operating instructions! Various languages are available for selection.
The devices also offer a diagnostic function that allows users to check all connections for correctness before starting the production process on the machine. Potential errors are reliably detected and corresponding error messages are displayed once the diagnosis has been completed for the control zone (hot runner mold). The results can also be printed out if required.
Another function that has been much applauded by initial users is the operating history. It enables the system administrator to trace all setting changes made, which are presented in chronological sequence complete with date.
