Multi-cable glands offer the advantage of allowing entry for several cables or strands into an enclosure or similar through a single inlet. Depending on the shape and number of the cables, HUMMEL offers a wide variety of multi-gasket inserts for cable glands of the HSK Series. Customised solutions can be had for purchase quantities as low as 1,000 items. This also goes for the slotted versions.

These make it possible to insert pre-assembled cables by clipping the cable in through a lateral slot in the gasket insert. This way it is possible, for instance, to feed through several pre-assembled patch cables including RJ 45 connectors without extra work in a space-saving fashion through one single screw fitting. Depending on application, IP 68 protection can still be achieved.

On request HUMMEL can provide free of charge an IP test related to the application in question. Besides the standard sealing material (continuous operating temperature -40 °C to + 100 °C) the HSK-multi-seal inserts are also available on request in food safe silicone, in FPM (Vition®) or in EPDM.
