HUMMEL is not responsible for the contents of third party websites. When the links were originally created, HUMMEL checked the external contents for possible legal violations. At that time no legal violations were apparent. HUMMEL has no influence on the current and future design and contents of the linked pages. It is unreasonable to expect HUMMEL to constantly monitor external links for legal violations without specific indication thereof. If legal violations come to our knowledge, such external links will be deleted immediately.

Limitation of liability

The liability of HUMMEL for damages - on whatever legal basis - is precluded.

This does not apply in the event of:

• gross negligence on the part of the governing body or of senior executives,
• culpable injuries to life/body/health,
• defects which HUMMEL has maliciously concealed,
• insofar as HUMMEL has given a warranty for a particular characteristic of an article of sale, 

as well as in the event of defects of an article of sale, insofar as the supplier is liable for damage to persons or to property to privately used objects under the Product Liability Act.

In the event of culpable fundamental breach of contract HUMMEL accepts liability even in the event of gross negligence on the part of non-senior executives and in the event of slight negligence, in the latter case however limited to reasonably foreseeable damages typical for the contract. Further claims for damages are precluded.
